ROBERTS AirGuard Premium Underlayment is a comprehensive protection system for use under laminate and engineered wood flooring. Compatible with most radiant heat systems, AirGuard features innovative Air Flow Technology, and is the only underlayment to include MICROBAN Antimicrobial Protection to safeguard your floors against mold, mildew and odor-causing bacteria.

  • 3 layer design protects floating laminate and floating engineered hardwood flooring
  • Bottom layer: permeable film that wicks moisture up from concrete or wood subfloors
  • Middle layer: thousands of cushioning, stabilizing polyshims that support the finished flooring
  • Top layer: impermeable film that keeps moisture away from flooring
  • Patented Air Flow Technology for constant air movement to safely release moisture away from flooring
  • Microban antimicrobial product protection inhibits the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew
  • Superior moisture protection for above, on, and below grade
  • 40″ wide x 30′ long x 2 mm thick for 100 sq. ft. Coverage
  • 4 in. overlap seam with adhesive strip joins pieces and seals out moisture for added protection
